Question: What is a Free Church? Answer: Our definition of a Free Church is any gathering of believers, ministries, or other formal organizations that have not prostrated themselves at the feet of man's government seeking permission to exist by license. By that we mean, those who have not sought recognition from the state for corporate privilege [cheating one's neighbor], and those who have not sold their birthright for a bowl of pottage [government 'benefits']. Question: Why do we need Free Churches? Answer: To return to the Body of Christ to the sovereign status that God the Father intended. Question: Is my Church 'free'? Answer: By our definition most likely not. If your Church [again the people] are engaged in any of the following practices they are in bondage. This includes: 1. Incorporation by the State corporately. (Church, Inc.) 2. Seeking tax-exempt status from the IRS corporately. (501c(3) or (4)) 3. Participating in government idolatry individually. (Government Social Welfare Programs) Question: Can I start a 'free' Church? Answer: Yes. You are the church. The question is are you free? First you must know the truth, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32 |
